Books

I Love books! They are the coolest thing throught the universe. If books are written well they can be as delicious as a giant Crème Brule’ and you have the spoon. I think you can hear the characters voice, see the characters talking, and have the characters thoughts and feelings if it’s written well.

                Books, I think, can become something wonderful if you just look and listen to them.  When I have to stop reading it takes a few minutes for me to be pulled out of the world in which I traveled to; whether it be the distance future, past, or a completely other world. Books can completely captivate you depending on how you look at them.

                Sometimes the author has written the characters so ingeniously that it feels as if you are the character and you feel his/her emotions and can truly tell what that person is going through. That’s why it takes me a few minutes to escape a book if it’s well written because you (or at least for me) in a sense take on that persons personality

                          My Uncle once told me (since he wasn’t really a reader) that “ If you’re a movie fan then the book ruins the movie.” I don’t believe that unless the movie came first then the movie ruins the book. Plus it also adds to the movie in some ways because for me I like to see what the producer changed or took out.

                In all cases, I just really love books. They are, in my opinion, better then movies and even better the video games because if the author is good they can dig in deep and really bring you to another world. Books are one of the treasures of the world and should not be forsaken…
