As the fog lifted, the brilliant blue sky shifted into place. An icy chill swept up my sleeves. Shading my eyes from the blazing sun, I paused in the snow to gaze at the beauty around me. A picture perfect panorama opened when I slid off the lift. Staring up at the mountain it seems to be of solid gold, as the yellow sun gleamed on the snow. Pink, purple, and orange were painted across the sky.
We live in a beautiful world. When skiing I get a brilliant perspective of beauty. Sadly, skiers and snowboarders hurry off down the mountain ignoring the awesome creation around them. It sometimes takes another person to open our eyes to the greatness around us. The unique snowflakes that are never the same, or rain drops on leaves are magnificent to see. Going outside is like looking at a painter’s creation. I must not forget to stop and observe this exquisiteness.
This is a wonderful essay, it kind of makes it feel like you're right there. It's nice to get someone else's perspective on the mountains. I like how you say that it looks like "a painter's creation."
