Of burgers...and pickles

They're always there to ruin my burgers. I can't stand them. Just when you take that first magical bite of delicious meat and cheese, oftentimes there's a renegade crunch, a rebel spike of bitter wrongness that sours the otherwise sweet oblivion of murdered meat in my mouth. My wife eats them, with—pun intended—relish, so if she's with me, I dissect my burger and give them to her, and in return sometimes she gives me her onions. Honestly, in the store they look like turds in a jar. I don't get it. Hold the pickle please.

  1. I don't agree with your view on pickles. I enjoy there crunchy, sour, and sometimes sweet taste! They make a good and flavorful snack! Also pickles are high in vitamin K. Though they are full of sodium and may cause high blood pressure, if you eat to many, you can get pickles that have less sodium. :)

  2. I hate them too. You made pickles sound like they are the enemy.!
